Collecting and submitting proper evidence is your obligation. You are advised to carefully read and understand the particular evidence requirements. Along with Record specific guidelines, you get all forms in prescribed formats which you need to download and duly fill them as instructed. Wisely and logically consider the type of materials you intend to submit. Instantaneous collecting of evidence is very important as negligence may result in disqualification.
Usually, we get applications for records that are following as Measurable (biggest / fastest / most / extraordinary etc.), Verifiable, one Variable, Universal, Best in the World, reproducible, breakable and based on skill. Freak, strange and unusual anomalies are not considered world records. Stunts involving luck or uncontrolled danger should not be submitted. Minor applicants are not supposed to attempt or undertake records that are considered to be unsuitable and unsafe, all applicants are informed to avoid any illegal activity for breaking or setting a record. No animals should be harmed in the pursuit of the record attempt. If your proposed record title is similar to the one we already have in the UNIQUE WORLD RECORDS database, we encourage you to break the existing record instead of approving a similar title. Unique World Records only recognises national and world records.

Yes, of course, you must APPLY through a fresh application for your reattempt, as your previous application was rejected for being unsuccessful. UNIQUE WORLD RECORDS welcome and encourage you to reattempt the record. Many applications regularly challenging the records are received by us.
Yes, of course, the set of rules and guidelines plays a vital role in the process of achieving a world record. There are two types of guidelines viz. General Guidelines and Record Specific Guidelines. A complete list of rules is available on our website for every applicant, but the rules and guidelines are non-exhaustive and UNIQUE WORLD RECORDS do not offer any guarantee or warranty of making your attempt risk-free. UNIQUE WORLD RECORDS advise you to get expert help and proper safety equipment before attempting a record involving risk for you or anyone else.

It is necessary to follow these guidelines to perform your event in an efficient and result-oriented manner. Given Fees for this service is not the actual fee applicable as it all depends on the type of event, the number of days and people involved and the place, please contact support for details about your event to get the exact details of the final fees and expenses to be paid through invoice.
Very large, perishable and valuable may be involved in the record attempt, hence the actual items are not required to be sent to us. However, we may specifically be interested in something particular if required to be inspected for review.
Media coverage is not a piece of mandatory evidence but it can be considered supporting evidence. You may share media coverage including print and electronic media.
Once your evidence is successfully submitted for review, you will be notified by email.
Set / Break a Record: Once your title got accepted for applications to Set / Break a Record, you will get a Unique ID for your application which will expire after one year so you need to attempt the record within one year from the date of your application. Once the event is completed you need to submit evidence for review within 10 days from the date of attempt. Unique World Records will not consider any claim in this regard after the expiry of the stipulated period.
Submit Record: Once your title got accepted for applications to submit old Record Evidence, a Unique ID for your application will be assigned which will expire after 4 working days from the date of title approval confirmation. Please Submit the Proposed Record Evidence for review in the stipulated time of 4 working days to avoid disqualifications once your title got accepted. Unique World Records will not consider any claim in this regard after the expiry of the stipulated period.
Once the online application is submitted, UWR Team will process the record claim within 24 hours - 48 hours. If documentation received is incomplete, our team will contact the applicant for corrected evidence and the process continues until the team is satisfied.
Application on behalf of a business, agency or non-profit organisation may seek help from our Record Consultancy Service, but individual consultancy services are available only on paid basis though we try and assist all the applicants in every possible manner. We suggest you apply for Title Check/Approval via our website before proposing a new record title.
If you have a new record idea that is not in our database and still satisfies the qualifying criterion, you are welcome to apply it to attempt a new record, for this first apply for Title Check/Approval via our website.
Yes, the acceptability of such application is based upon some parameters of UNIQUE WORLD RECORDS like the degree of risk involved and type of record attempt. However, if you are under the age of 18, you will need either a parent or guardian to apply and agree on your behalf.

Any attempt that is successfully accepted as having broken and/or set a record will be awarded an exclusive Unique Record Holder Community premium membership Badge recognizing the achievement. If it is recognized, details of the achievement will be added to our world-famous and internationally recognized database collection of records. Inclusion in the database does not mean that the achievement shall be featured in any Unique World Records publication. The record details will be freely given to interested third parties, without prejudice, such as the press, media and the general public.
We hardly charge anything. The only time Unique World Records might expect payment is if members of our staff have, by arrangement, attended your event on the invitation as Adjudicators. Once, the Record status is granted to the applicant, the record details will be published on our official Records Database website, the annual edition of the book, UWR Official Blog, and applicants will get Free Unique Record Holder Community premium membership Badge. The applicant will receive an email with the link to order the Certificate and other paid accessories if required. We do only charge for any additional copies if they’re requested.
Yes, Of course, Once, the Record status is granted to the applicant, the record details will be published on our official Records Database website, the annual edition of the book, UWR Official Blog, and applicants will get Free Unique Record Holder Community premium membership Badge. You will also get a Record Approval e-mail with the subject “Official Unique World Records – Record” with a link in a confirmation email to order a Certificate with Seal and other paid accessories.
Once Record status is granted, the applicant receives a link in the confirmation email to order a Certificate and other paid accessories. You can order your special certificate pack using the same link provided in the confirmation email. If you already ordered the certificate and still have not received the same then please Contact Support.
Note: Generally, certificate orders can be delivered for free via ordinary Indian Postal Service and usually delivery takes at least 6 working days from receipt of your order. If you wish for early delivery, please choose the paid shipping method. An email will be sent to you once your order is dispatched.
UNIQUE WORLD RECORDS practice computerised system and ensure the correctness of the information furnished by you as an applicant, we use modern printing technologies to print the certificates with the utmost care, but as you know still there is a room for mistakes, we apologize for any error in the certificate and promise you to replace it unconditionally (by surrendering the misprint certificate). UNIQUE WORLD RECORDS adhere to a prescribed format, hence we cannot allow any amendments or personalisation of the text in the certificate unless a clear syntax error or any other error such as a misprint or misspelling is found, only the information provided by you as an applicant is used to fill the blanks of a given certificate.
Unframed Certificates and record holder accessories can be ordered through the website. Refer to the UWR Store for details of the charges applicable to each product.
Participants are part and parcel of the given record; hence they cannot be denied certification. Participants can directly order Participant Certificates through the website by providing the details of the record. The Charge of this Service is Rs. 500 + (Rs. 200 Courier Charges) per participant certificate, you may order additional paid accessories during checkout. There is every possibility of your record being published on our website, however, if it is not found in the database please contact support and raise a support ticket. We will not be able to guarantee that any record will appear with photos on our website. However, exciting records that are supported by good-quality photographs have a better than average chance of appearing.
