Largest Collection of Rare and Old Banknotes

Mahendra Sharma (Born on 1st January 1970) from Rajasthan, India has collected rare and antique banknotes from different nations of the world. He has collected 24,170 banknotes of different countries like India, Burma, Pakistan, Turkey, Nepal and China in the last 25 years. The speciality of his collection is that all these banknotes were issued for common use in two nations i.e. for India –Burma and for India – Pakistan which is very rare. His collection also includes banknotes issued by every governor from 1901 to 2015. He has also collected 20 sets of 786-786 series banknotes (set of 9 notes) from Rs 1 to Rs 1000.
