Largest Hand Print Indian National Flag

The Information Technology Department of Sagi Rama Krishnam Raju Engineering College, Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh, India made the “Largest Hand Print Indian National Flag” on 26th January 2015. It was 27432 X 18288 mm at the ratio of 2:3 (90 ft X 60 ft), and was prepared using handmade cloth, Eco-Friendly Colours with 12,500 people's handprints on it and displayed on the college ground. The event was done to accomplish the motive of "Lend A Hand For Brighter India" we initiated united we stand united we live by promising the handprint on cloth by considering five Social causes (i.e Clean India, Women Safety, Save Girl Child, Save environment and Anti-Terrorism) as five fingers of the hand forms the Indian National Flag. This event was led by Dr G.P.Saradhi Varma, Head of I.T Dept., Dr I.Hemalatha, Sri K.Kishore Raju as Co-ordinators & 2011-2015 Batch Final Year Students.
