Dr S. Ramesh Babu (born on 12th February 1957) from Karnataka, India played 18,757 Absolute Non-Stop Solo Table Tennis Rallies in 1 Hr. 33 Min. 59 Sec., at M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore (Karnataka), India on 9th August 1997, at the rate of 199.4 strokes per minute. Rhythmic forehand volleys were played over the net against one half of the Table Tennis table placed perpendicular to the playing half, with a gap of 16 cm. Remarkably, the position of his feet remained unchanged till completing 17,568 strokes in 1 Hr. 28 Min. 20 Sec.
