Dr Volukula Sivashankara Rao (Born on 1st July 1955) from Andhra Pradesh, India has created the record of “Maximum Times Performed Dharanavadhana Prakriya”. He performed "Dharanavadhanam" in Telugu Viswa Vidyalayam, Hyderabad by reciting 1125 verses in 10 hours on 1st June 1997. Till now he performed "Dharanavadhanam" on more than 300 stages throughout the world. He performed "Dharanavadhanam" for the 19th TANA Convention held in Dallas, Texas, USA in 2013.
