Dr Pushpendra Purashwani (born on 12th June 1983) from Madhya Pradesh, India has set a World Record of being the Youngest Doctor of Philosophy Awardee (PhD Awardee). He has been awarded a PhD at the age of 25 Years, 5 Months and 10 Days in the field of Physical Education from Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education, Gwalior (Deemed University) on 22nd November 2008.
