Smt. Kamala Prasad Rao (born on 8th September 1949) from Andhra Pradesh, India has been engaged in the unique crafts of making artistic items out of waste material like Tamarind Seeds, Wheatgrass, Bangle pieces, Broomsticks, Bamboo scrap etc. She had made still now more than 200 items of crafts works, Kamala Prasad Rao motive is Art is for Art sake not for commercials basing on this principle to create awareness among women folk about Handicrafts.
